Your personalized plan begins with a consultation. One of our certified trainers will listen to your needs and challenges to create a
plan based on your body and your goals. This also includes using our Evolt 360 Body Scanner to provide an accurate overview of your body’s current state and where improvement is most needed. From there, it’s up to you, but we are here every step of the way.
LEAD TRAINER
Alex Barber found his passion for fitness early in college while studying graphic design. He was very skinny growing up and once he started
going to the gym and seeing a positive change in his physique, he started doing more and more fitness and nutrition research to expedite
the process. The more knowledge he learned, the more he wanted to
learn. What started simply as a casual pastime with friends soon
became a daily habit and passion which transformed his physique from
6’1” 115 lbs and shaped his career path.
He’s worked in commercial fitness programs, online personal training, coaching, and social media content creation, owned and operated
a successful concierge fitness company servicing luxury apartment
buildings and corporate offices throughout CT and NY, and now brings
that same passion to the QNTM Fit Life Personal training team. Backed
with multiple NASM certifications including a Golf Fitness
specialization, he now strives to motivate anyone and everyone to
transform their lives and get started on or continue down the right path.
TRAINER
Weightlifting wasn't always part of my story. At an early age Chronic pain and illness sidelined me. conquering those challenges through weight training sparked a passion for helping others do the same.
Now, as a certified trainer, I witness firsthand the empowering transformations people experience when they lift weights and change their bodies. I'm here to guide you on your journey to greater strength and confidence, both inside and outside the gym.

TRAINER
My fitness journey started when I became a dancer. Unlike most competitive dancers who started much earlier, I began my dance career at age of 14. Determined to catch up despite their years of experience, I diligently researched techniques to strengthen my skills and compete at their level. Learning how exercise could increase my performance sparked my passion for exercise science. My interest in nutrition really took off when my mom was diagnosed with cancer. Seeing how crucial diet was in her journey sparked a deep dive into understanding how nutrition impacts our health. I spent a lot of time researching, reading studies, and talking to experts to figure out how certain foods could help her heal and strengthen her body. This journey fueled my passion for both nutrition and exercise science.That's why I decided to pursue a degree in exercise science at Middle Tennessee State University. I wanted to learn more about how exercise and nutrition work together to enhance our well-being and performance. During my time there, I dove into subjects like exercise physiology and nutritional biochemistry, gaining valuable insights that I could apply both personally and professionally. Now, as a personal trainer I'm dedicated to helping others make informed choices about their health while also pushing them to perform in the gym.
TRAINER
Charlie’s passion for fitness began in 2017 when a major tear in her knee during ballet changed the course of her life. The extensive rehabilitation process took her on a journey of discovering how to heal and use her body properly to avoid any further injury. Now with specialties ranging from glute growth, to weight loss, to German Body Composition and everything in between, Charlie uses her NASM PT certification and love for people to help clients become the best version of themselves. If you’re looking improve your physical capabilities or be pushed beyond your perceived limitations, Charlie is your girl!
TRAINER
Miguel Ortega is a dedicated personal trainer with a strong foundation in Exercise Physiology from BYU-Idaho and a Strength and Conditioning certification from the NSCA. His journey in the fitness industry began with invaluable experience at a physical therapy clinic, where he spent a year and a half working on rehabilitation for both athletes and everyday individuals. With over two years of hands-on experience, Miguel has successfully trained college-level and high school athletes, bringing a wealth of knowledge and a personalized approach to each client. His background in both exercise science and rehab equips him to create effective, tailored programs that help clients achieve their goals, whether they're recovering from an injury or striving to enhance their athletic performance. Miguel’s passion for fitness and commitment to his clients make him a standout choice for anyone looking to elevate their training and overall well-being.
TRAINER
Quentin Higgins was born in Nashville, TN in 1982. From a young age, he started playing a variety of sports and soon discovered a passion for lifting weights. Quentin played both football and ice hockey growing up, but decided to pursue his hockey career full time after the age of 16. He played through college at the University of Findlay where he earned his Bachelors of Science in Strength and Conditioning. From there, he worked as a strength and Conditioning Coach at both the University of Iowa and Colgate University before earning his Masters of Science degree in Athletic Training from Weber State University.
After Quentin completed his master’s degree, he has worked in Pro Hockey for the San Jose Sharks and Anaheim Ducks AAA farm teams as Head Athletic Trainer and has also worked as Head Strength and Conditioning Coach and Head Athletic Trainer for the Boston Bruins and Arizona Coyotes AA farm teams. Before returning back to his home in Nashville, Quentin worked as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Oakland Roots Soccer Club in the United Soccer League.
Quentin’s motto is building strength through science by using advanced methods of training and nutrition along with helping clients develop the mindset on how to operate like a pro.
